It will also track muscle tension based on body models and interpret the amount of force being applied to both a body or a surface. A recent Kinect demo showed the device measuring blood flow under the skin to determine whether a user was scared, lying and could have sex health monitoring implications.

Color depth is 24 bits per pixel on a 7 inch screen and uses a combination of 3-axis gyros, accelerometers, and magnetometers, which make it capable of absolute (relative to earth) head orientation tracking without drift. The weight of the headset is approximately 379 and comes with a power adapter to drive the large screen which requires more power than USB connections can drive. Developer devices are in circulation with commercial release of the HMD expected in 2014.
